Protected Learning Time (PLT) Events
Our GP Practice takes part in a number of Protected Learning Time (PLT) events throughout the year. This dedicated time allows the practice the opportunity to carry out essential staff training and address professional development for the whole Practice team. This Protected Learning Time allows us as a Practice to improve on our service delivery and ensure we are providing a high standard of care to our patient population.
The Staunton Group Practice will remain open during these sessions. A Duty GP will be available for telephone advice, face-to-face appointments and home visits as clinically appropriate during this period.
Out of Hours
Enhanced Access
Between 6:30pm and 8am Monday to Friday and all-day weekends and bank holidays urgent care is the responsibility of NHS Haringey. Our Reception Team may offer you an appointment with the Enhanced Access Hub if appropriate.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
